Phoenixes, we need to pause.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen health reasons, we have to cancel all upcoming concerts, including our long-awaited 5-year anniversary show at Berlin’s Werk 9.

This decision was not easy for us. We know how much you were looking forward to celebrating this milestone together, and we share your disappointment.

But this is not a goodbye.
Every single show, including the anniversary concert, will be rescheduled.

We will announce the new dates as soon as possible and look forward to seeing you all when we are back in full strength.
Thank you for your understanding, patience and unwavering support.

The Phoenix will rise again.

At the same time, we’re preparing for a special moment: FemME X Festival in Helmond, NL will be the final show of our „Winter Is Coming“ chapter – the Final Winter. Our rehearsals are done, the setlist is set, and we’re ready to bring an unforgettable performance to the Netherlands! 

But don’t worry – this is not the end. We’re already making plans for the future, with more shows and new surprises on the horizon!

5 Years on Stage – The Beginning of Our Journey!

Phoenixes, there’s something to celebrate! 🎉

On February 21, 2020, Dying Phoenix played their very first live show at the Rockzone Metal Fest in Berlin’s Lido – sharing the stage with Mob Rules, Mission In Black, and Hell In The Skies. Just one week before the world went into lockdown, this night marked the beginning of our journey on stage.

Now, five years later, we’re looking for a way to properly celebrate this special anniversary with you – our fans! Stay tuned for updates on what we’re planning!

But that’s not all:

We’re also planning more shows for 2025, and we’d love to hear from you! Where should Dying Phoenix play next? Let us know your wishes and suggestions, and let’s make it happen!

FemME 2025

First Gig 2025!

We have fantastic news: Dying Phoenix has secured its first confirmed gig! 🎉 On April 27th, we will take the stage at FemME X – Female Metal Event at Muziekcafé Helmond!

This festival is now celebrating its 10th anniversary. In the early days, our Duchess of Keys, Moran Magal, played there and she loved it. We are delighted to be sharing the stage this year with Fireborn, Fabulae Dramatis, Beyond Frequencies, Skeptical Minds and Isabeau.

Not only is this another exciting festival for us, but it also marks our first-ever show in the Netherlands – another country conquered on our musical journey! We can’t wait to rock the stage and share this special night with you!

The next Re-Recording

The new year begins with some news.

We have already introduced our new drummer. But we can also tell you that we already have a few applicants who would like to take Florian’s position. We are currently checking the candidates, but are optimistic that this position will be filled again shortly.

In the meantime, we want to let music do the talking.
We already told you last year that we had re-recorded two songs from our debut „Winter Is Coming“ with the line-up of Flo and Micha.
A few weeks ago, „Who Owns The North 2024“ was released.

Now the next release is coming up. On Thursday, January 9, 2025, we will release „Mother Of Dragons 2025“. Get ready to rediscover our band’s classic.

Goodbye, Flo!

Phoenixes,

the band is in constant motion. And we have both good and bad news to report.

The bad news first:
As some of you may have already heard on our social media, our Enchanter of String Paths, Florian Kunde, recently left the band for personal reasons. Just like with our Drummer in the Mist, Michael Wieczorek, we very much regret this step, but understand the reasons. We wish Micha and Flo every success in their future endeavors and are sure that our paths will cross again in the future.

But, everyone who knows the band also know, that this don’t bring us down. 

Although Flo has been a driving, creative force in Dying Phoenix, our plan is still to go into the studio in the first quarter of 2025 to record the first new songs.
Keep an eye on our pages, we will be able to present you with the next news soon.
